Business Background
Jon has succesfully run his own business for over 10 years,
his work running the gamut from advertising, PR & online marketing to
promoting and composing music. Different areas of his endeavors have been
written up in the Washington Post, Spin Magazine, CMJ, Boston Herald, the
Village Voice, NME, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, and a variety of other press and
publications. 
Life in Hawaii
After years on the mainland, Jon and his wife decided to return to Hawaii. Both had grown up in the Islands and missed the warm community and unique way of life. Home again in Honolulu, they both have involved themselves in the life of this great place. There's nothing quite like it.
Like most local kids, Jon was a devotee of Checkers & Pogo. He even got to be on the show once. That still ranks as one of the great moments in his life, surpassed only by his wedding day. His wife, Austen, attended Punahou and paddles with the Waikiki Beachboys team.
Jon graduated from Radford High School and attended college at George Mason University, as did Austen, near Washington, DC. He graduated with a degree in English with a Concentration in Creative Writing. Jon also paddles on the Waikiki Beachboys team.
In The Hawaii Community
Jon was the 58th President of the Honolulu Chinese Jaycees, winning the Kamisato Award for Top Hawaii Chapter President. He also lead HCJ to the #1 Chapter position in the State for his year.
He's currently on the Hawaii Jaycees State Executive Board for the 2nd year in a row and also served as the PR & Community Chairman for the Hawaii 'Adopt-A-School Day' project.
